Most of the characters in Zoey's bedtime stories are her stuffed animals. Zoey is a big fan of Disney Junior, and sometimes asks for some of those characters to be in her stories. References to these characters can be found elsewhere.
The first stuffed animals to be featured in bedtime stories were Dragon and Panda. Because there are stories to be told every night, and because Zoey has a lot of stuffed animals, the list of characters has grown significantly.
Mr. Stripes is a tiger who is the town mechanic.
Dr. Fox is a doctor.
Mama Jaguar is the town librarian.
Cow works at the train station.
Lilephant is an orphan elephant who lives in The Barn.
Minguin and Binguin are brother and sister penguins who live at The Haunted Hotel.
